The early nineties managzine Independent Video provided an outlet for numerous filmmakers shooting on 16mm / Hi-Video / VHS to share their battle stories and give their work some visibility. Issue Seven featured an article on the making of Leif Jonker’s Super-8 vampire feature film Darkness, coming soon to Blu-ray from Arrow video.
